Remnant
Album · Artan Davoodi
A reconstruction of memory. Eight chapters return to what remained, rebuilt through the musician I have become.
Story
Remnant returns to a formative period in Denmark: compositions, performances, people and unfinished thoughts. It preserves what survived without reproducing the past.
The project began with the private, unreleased Danish Expression of a Hijacked Plan, made in FL Studio. Remnant reconstructs that material in Logic Pro through memory, surviving music and a present perspective.
Repetition becomes self-confrontation, questioning, distance, love and confession. Still closes the album with what remains.
Musical details
Intimate singer-songwriter, alternative, neoclassical, ambient and cinematic textures. Each track holds its own place within that space.
Production
Restrained arrangements bring acoustic guitar, felt piano and close vocals into focus. Silence, decay and audible imperfections remain part of the music. Reconstruction and production take place in Logic Pro.

Lullaby Unreleased
Story
Lullaby began before I met Filippa. After falling in love with her, it became an unspoken love song. I performed it while she was present, without telling her what it had come to mean. Within Remnant, it is for her: the last memory before distance.
Lyrics
Sunlight dancing above, painting our sky so bright. Sunshine hides in your eyes, raining down on my heart.
When you're falling in love, fears start falling apart. Stars sing a lullaby, angels begin to fly.
Life is simple enough to make us fall in love. Diamonds shining above, simple as we thought.
If you're falling in love, dark is replaced by light. Mountains kneel on their knees, air feels good when you breathe.
Life is simple enough to make us fall in love. Diamonds shining above, simple as we thought.
Simple as you smile, when you look in my eyes. I keep on holding on tight, when we are falling in love.

Filippa Unreleased
Story
A new composition written in 2026. Filippa names the woman I loved but never directly told. Small moments survived: her smile, familiarity, anonymous notes and everything left unsaid. The resolution is not an imagined answer. It is finally speaking.

Still Unreleased
Story
Still looks back across years of distance and change. It asks what happened to the people involved and what survives after the original moment ends. Loved you becomes Love you.
This forthcoming studio master is separate from Still (Live Acoustic), with piano and a broader album arrangement intended.
Lyrics
Circling back in time You and I still wonder How did all these years go by? Do we really know?
If I could bend the time I would go back to you Before I lost myself Before I lost you too
Loved you Loved you Loved you Loved you
Wish you were here Close enough to stay If you lost the way I'll find you someday
Wish you were here Like I never left To love you every day Before we fade away
Loved you Loved you Loved you Loved you
Running through my mind All the things I never said How far did I go? Still I see you there
Every road I crossed Led me to the past Even from this far Some things echo back
Loved you Loved you Loved you, still
Love you
